Preschool

Asbury Preschool serves 3–5-year-old children in a structured, nurturing environment designed to prepare them for kindergarten both academically and spiritually. This preschool program began in 1980. It was started by Catherine Hallman, the minister’s wife, and Sandy Ferguson, an Asbury member. The morning class consisted of 12 four-year-old students. The following year, an afternoon class of 8 students was added. In 1989, Audrey White and Janet Adamovich formed a class for three-year-olds. Since our current Director, Laura, has been here, she has expanded the program to three separate groups of class sessions taught in both the 3’s and 4’s classes, and in 2023, we were able to offer families all-day preschool. We are proud that hundreds of children began their school years with a Christian background at Asbury. Many alumni fondly remember these days.
